On Lower East Side, a new lantern shines onto Orchard Street:  Is it a fashion store, an art installation, or a DJ's loft?  Le Père's first physical store personifies the fashion brand’s approach to streetwear as a collaborative form of art. Unique characters and objects together set the stage: A shining column, a yellow fitting area, a curved bench, a sculptural table, and a minimalist DJ counter.

THE VAMPIRE’S KISS

ETH Zürich / Meteora, 2020

Elizabeth Murdoch, Rupert Murdoch’s daughter, inherits a multi-billion empire from her recently deceased father. Unsure what to do with all the newly gained money, power and public presence, she consults me as her architect to give her persona a new public face - and this through the means of architecture, on a specific site in the heart of Paris, facing Notre Dame.
The Vampire’s Kiss is both a short film and an architectural design, realized in conversation with A.I. tools and game-engines.

Visible from Big Ben, London Eye and Tate Modern, Switzerland presents its leading role in architecture and digital research to an international audience - through a “Quantum Mongolfière” landing on top of Somerset House and a “Quantum Tube” rushing underneath. Two new spaces for London, they act both as mediators of ideas and digital fantasies and as the beacons for London Design Biennale’s public promotion with over 100000 expected visitors.

DECARBONIZED NEW YORK

Master Thesis
ETH Zürich, 2022
Instructors: F. Charbonnet, P. Heiz, M. Montresor (Voluptas) , L. Stalder, D. Spina

Decarbonized New York is a new manifesto for sustaining Manhattan’s future. It takes the Seagram Building - one of New York’s most influential and simultaneously most polluting buildings and imagines its adaptive re-use. The Seagram Building’s iconicity reincarnates as a beacon for making Manhattan’s and the world’s post-war office buildings sustainable.

Baubüro is the first student-led design studio in the history of ETH Zürich.
As a group of eight students, and in collaboration with the ETH presidency and real estate department, we developed architectural strategies for the ETH campus of the future.
Through publications, exhibitions, panel discussions and performances, Baubüro influenced the Swiss architectural discourse on new modes of teaching, adaptive re-use and architectural practice.

PORTOFINO

Urban Vision / Architectural Design
ETH Zürich, 2021
Collaborator: Ludwig Hänssler Instructor: Prof. An Fonteyne

Lake Zurich is a picturesque spectacle expressed in sceneries and paper stages that carries the feeling of being on holidays. Portofino is a new urbanistic vision for the harbour of Thalwil taking up the holiday-feeling and transforming it into architecture that enriches the everyday life of the local inhabitants.  Four strategic interventions link a dense modernist settlement down the cliff to the lake and transform an area characterized by suburban sprawl into a playful port city.
